The back office behind your brand
You're turning away work, or burning your seniors on compliance that barely breaks even. We become your delivery team behind the scenes — your brand on the work, your workpaper standard, your client relationships completely untouched.
What changes in the first year
Firms don't outsource because they like outsourcing. They do it because a fixed-fee compliance book only works if the delivery cost comes down.
Realisation goes up
The same fixed fee, delivered at a materially lower cost base. Compliance work stops subsidising itself out of your partner time.
Busy season stops hurting
Flex the team up in January and back down in May. No contractor premiums, no recruitment lead time, no redundancy conversation.
Seniors move up the stack
Your qualified staff stop coding bank feeds and start doing advisory — the work your clients will actually pay a premium for.
You stop declining work
Capacity becomes a commercial decision rather than a hiring one. Say yes to the client you'd have turned down last quarter.
Your clients never see us
Unless you want them to. Most firms run us invisibly; some introduce us as their offshore team because it signals scale. Both work — the decision is yours and we follow it exactly.
- We work inside your systems under named user logins, so your audit trail stays intact
- Files are built to your workpaper standard and referencing convention, not a generic template
- No direct contact with your clients unless you explicitly ask for it
- Your engagement letters, your disclosures, your professional relationship
- We'll work to whatever your regulator requires on outsourcing disclosure
Practical note on disclosure
In the US, AICPA and state board rules govern what you must tell clients when work is performed by a third party — including obtaining consent before disclosing confidential client information. UK practices have similar obligations under ICAEW and ACCA guidance, and Australian and Canadian bodies each have their own position.
We don't advise you on this — your professional body does — but we'll structure the engagement, the contracts and the data flows to fit whichever position you take, and provide whatever documentation your compliance review needs.
Start narrow, widen once it's proven
Almost nobody moves everything at once, and we'd talk you out of it if you tried. These are the usual entry points, roughly in order of how often they're chosen.
Monthly bookkeeping book
Your recurring compliance clients — coding, reconciliation and a reviewed month-end pack on a fixed close calendar.
Tax return preparation
1040s, CT600s, T1s and BAS prepared with full supporting workpapers for your licensed reviewer to sign.
Year-end review & filings
A pre-filing review that makes every balance tie, then the statutory accounts and filing pack assembled for your signature.
BAS, GST & VAT returns
High-frequency indirect tax returns prepared from reconciled data, second-reviewed before they reach you for approval.
Clean-ups & migrations
The client whose books are eighteen months behind, or the move from desktop to cloud you keep deferring.
Payroll bureau work
Multi-client payroll runs to a fixed calendar with second-reviewer sign-off before every submission.
Advisory delivery capacity
The management reporting and forecasting behind the advisory retainers you'd like to sell but can't currently staff.
Four jurisdictions, staffed by people who know them
Compliance knowledge isn't transferable. Each market has its own trained pod, its own review checklist and its own filing calendar.

What partners ask before signing
How do we explain this to our professional indemnity insurer?
Insurers usually ask three things: where client data goes, who can access it, and whether professional judgement stays with your licensed staff. The first answer is the easy one — client data does not go anywhere. We work inside your own systems under named logins you create and revoke, so there is no transfer to a third party to disclose. Access is least-privilege and MFA-enforced, and every commitment above goes into the engagement contract. Sign-off stays with you, structurally. We'll complete your insurer's questionnaire rather than send you a generic pack.
Who carries responsibility if something is wrong?
You do, to your client — that does not change and no outsourcing arrangement changes it. What our contract does is define our liability to you, backed by professional indemnity cover, and put a documented review process in place so errors are caught before they reach your desk. Every deliverable is prepared by one accountant and reviewed by a second.
Will our staff feel threatened by this?
Sometimes — and how you introduce it matters more than anything we do. The firms where it works well position it as removing the work nobody wanted: the coding, the chasing, the reconciliations. The firms where it goes badly present it as a cost programme. We are happy to join your internal briefing and answer questions directly.
Can we start with just one client?
Yes, and we'd recommend it. Pick one entity — ideally a messy-but-not-catastrophic one — and run the two-week pilot. You'll learn more about whether this works for your firm from one real file than from any reference call.
What if we want to bring the work back in-house later?
Thirty days' notice, full handover at no charge, and every SOP and workpaper transferred to you. The documentation we build during onboarding is yours to keep regardless — several firms have used it to restructure their in-house process.
Let's size your first engagement
A 30-minute call, a written scope, and a fixed monthly price. No obligation, no procurement process, and a two-week paid pilot before you commit to anything longer.
